March Letter 2026

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all of your support these last two months. I truly cannot believe that Tinta Y Lumbre is stepping into its THIRD month! And it is entirely because of you. Because of your encouragement, your purchases, your kind words, and your belief in what I’m building, I get to share my art and my love for books with the world. I don’t think I will ever be able to fully repay you for helping make this dream real.

When I first started Tinta Y Lumbre, I was working in a corporate job where, on paper, I was doing well. I had followed the path that so many of us, especially as Mexican Americans, are taught to follow, work hard, climb the ladder, chase stability, pursue success in the way it’s been defined for us. And I did. But even while achieving those milestones, something inside me felt disconnected. The passion wasn’t there.

Over time, it became harder to ignore the discomfort I felt working within spaces that prioritized profit over people. I realized that while I still very much love helping others, that love now shows up through art and libros.

I hope Tinta Y Lumbre brings something meaningful into your life and shows up in your life through shared stories, moment, and above all feelings.
